For the Marriott project, we knew that there were a lot of moving parts that needed to be handled with care. In addition to awning demolition and replacement during the rainy season, we also handled demolition, flat roof repair, plantar cap installation, sealants, seismic joint replacement, concrete restoration, custom-milled siding and trim install, and coatings for walls, floors, gutters, and downspouts.

When it comes to commercial reconstruction and remodeling, The Project Company has seen it all. So when the Marriott asked us to tackle this project without affecting their guests, we knew we could handle it without a problem. Transparency and communication are the keys to our success, so when we tackle a challenging project, we know we’ve got the team we need to make it happen.

Throughout the course of the project, the Marriott maintained an 80-100% occupancy rate. We utilized a rapid-dry floor coating to eliminate down time for guests, installed awnings with a crane, and a flexible schedule allowed us to focus on other projects when weather delays or weddings and other high priority events meant that we had to halt construction.

In all, we completed the project, including coating miles of railings throughout the property, without any incidents or adverse impact on the guests.

Despite the challenges of working with a high occupancy hotel and the vagaries of the weather, we were able to meet the ownerships goals for both budget and timeline.
